Here at the Central District Health Department, we strive to be the leader in assuring a healthy community. One way we do this is by offering immunization clinics for both children and adults. Immunizations are essential in disease prevention and individuals' protection. Vaccines are responsible for the control of many infectious diseases that were once common in this country, including polio, measles, diphtheria, pertussis (whooping cough), rubella (German measles), mumps, tetanus, and Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib). We also provide information about diseases and conditions, as well as information for individuals planning a trip to a foreign country.
The goal of the CDHD Food Safety Program is to minimize outbreaks of foodborne illness by ensuring that safe food is offered to the public by permitted and inspected establishments.
Businesses operating without a permit or an expired permit are subject to both local and state penalty fees.

Health Dept permit fees vary according to permit type and are renewable on an annual basis or upon change of establishment location or ownership.
