As we turn over into a new year one of the most common resolutions is to stop smoking. Luckily for those wanting to quit, there are many resources to help you, no matter how long you've been smoking or how many times you've tried to quit.

Resources include:

-Help lines, staffed by live people, who can walk you through how to quit.
-"Quit Plan" templates to help you figure out how to quit over time.
-Support groups, both online and in person, to make you accountable.
-Apps on your smart phone to help you quit.
-Medications to reduce the symptoms of withdrawl.

All this, and more can be found at the CDC's website. We also will be announcing a local smoking cessation group in around a month.
