Our CHW's also build individual and community capacity by increasing health knowledge and self-sufficiency through a range of activities such as outreach, community education, informal counseling, social support and advocacy. Here at CDHD we have CHW's from diverse backgrounds speaking a variety of languages including Spanish, Arabic, and Somali to name a few.
